Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the 18 Wheels mobile application and website (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

18 Wheels provides a platform for commercial truck drivers to:

  • Locate rest stops, fuel stations, and parking areas
  • Connect with other commercial drivers
  • Review and rate freight brokers
  • Access backup Electronic Logging Device (ELD) functionality
  • Generate paper logbooks for compliance purposes

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Service, you may be required to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Post false, misleading, or defamatory content
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
  • Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service
  • Use the Service to violate any applicable laws or regulations

5. Content

Users may post reviews, comments, and other content (“User Content”). You retain ownership of your User Content but grant 18 Wheels a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your User Content in connection with the Service.

6. ELD and Compliance Disclaimer

The backup ELD feature is provided as a supplementary tool only. It is NOT intended to replace your primary ELD device. Users are responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations. 18 Wheels is not liable for any compliance violations or penalties.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by 18 Wheels and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, 18 WHEELS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless 18 Wheels and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting a notice on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
